Although it is far the biggest and brightest object in the night sky, Photography of the Moon subject shoot. Using a standard 50mm lens, an image projected onto a slide or negative is only about 1/50 of an inch. Also consider such issues as exposure times, film types, and lenses and you begin to understand what is needed to take photographs of the moon. With the recent introduction of inexpensive digital cameras a whole new area of lunar photography is now available to the amateur. I've included a few things to consider when trying to photograph the moon. Equipment, techniques and even a few formulas are presented.
Photographing the moon, considering its relative size to us, makes it a bit of a challenge. Being brightly lit by the sun, moon photography is no different than any other genre of photography.
The only factor is trying to virtually come close to it enough that it takes a significant form and shape in our photographs. This is mainly achieved by using a long lens. The longer the lens, the larger and more detailed the moon will appear.
Below are a few examples of Beautiful sample Photography of the Moon that put together and share with from great photographer. If you have some good shots that you’ve taken yourself, we would love to take a look as well. Please do share links to those in the comments below.
